MiG-31 fighter crash in Russia's Far East likely caused mechanical failure - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - A MiG-31 interceptor fighter has crashed near Vladivostok, which has likely been caused by mechanical failure, the Russian Defense Ministry told Interfax.

"The pilots who ejected have been delivered to the Vladivostok Military Hospital for examination. Nothing threatens their health," it said.
