Militant group surrounded in a house in Kabardino-Balkarian village - source

NALCHIK. Dec 15 (Interfax) - Militants are surrounded in the village of Bylym, Kabardino-Balkaria, where the mode of a counterterrorist operation was introduced on Sunday morning, a source in local law enforcement told Interfax.

"A group of militants is surrounded in a homestead in the village of Bylym. We don't know their exact number," the source said.

Earlier the operations HQ in Kabardino-Balkaria announced that the mode of a counterterrorist operation was introduced in Bylym starting with 8:30 a.m. by a decision of the chief of the Federal Security Service (FSB) department for Kabardino-Balkaria which implies a number of special measures and temporary restrictions in the territory of the village.
