Moscow to host Supreme Eurasian Economic Council summit on Dec 24
MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Moscow will host a summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on December 24, the Kremlin press service reported on Wednesday.
The presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will discuss key avenues of integration cooperation between the Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian Customs Union and Common Economic Area member-states and the work on forming the Eurasian Economic Union by January 2015.
"Preparations for the implementation of the roadmaps on Kyrgyzstan's and Armenia's accession to the Eurasian integration institutions will be addressed," it said.
The three presidents plan to sign a number of joint decisions pertaining to a common customs policy, regulation of operations of the so-called natural monopolies, and rules of competition, it said.
