Moscow Exchange to sell its Settlement-Depository Co. stake to Gazprombank
MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - The supervisory board at OJSC Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS met on December 18 and voted to sell 28.54% of the stock in CJSC Settlement-Depository Company to Gazprombank , the exchange's CFO and management board member, Yevgeny Fetisov, told the press on Thursday.
He did not say for how much.
As reported, the Moscow Exchange group is streamlining its structure, in particular putting non-core assets and companies that duplicate the operations of existing subdivisions up for sale.
Gazprombank owns the controlling stake in Settlement-Depository Company.
NP RTS's managing director for corporate development and new projects, Maxim Volkov, told Interfax that NP RTS has also decided to sell its stake in Settlement-Depository Company - 1% - to Gazprombank. The price tag here has likewise not been disclosed.
