Rosneft, Transneft agree to coordinate oil export deliveries

MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - Russian oil major Rosneft and oil pipeline company OJSC Transneft have inked an agreement on the transportation of oil and oil products in 2014, and agreed to set up a working group to coordinate exports, a Transneft statement says.

The agreements lay out the main quantitative and technical terms for moving oil and oil products through the Transneft system.

The working group will function on a continual basis. It will coordinate exports and technological cooperation between the two companies. It will consist of representatives of commercial services, production and construction divisions, and the legal divisions of Rosneft and Transneft.

The agreements were reached after a meeting between Rosneft President Igor Sechin and his counterpart at Transneft, Nikolai Tokarev.
