Friday Russia-U.S.-UN meeting was last before Geneva II - Russian diplomat

GENEVA. Dec 20 (Interfax) - A tripartite Russian-U.S.-UN meeting dealing with preparations for the upcoming Geneva II international conference on Syria on Friday was the last such meeting before the conference itself scheduled for January 22, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said.

"We agreed to assume that it is the last one before the beginning of the conference on January 22," Gatilov told journalists on Friday in reply to a question from Interfax.
