Russian emergencies ministry plane with humanitarian cargo lands in Serbia

MOSCOW. Dec 24 (Interfax) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's airplane, which took off from the Ramenskoye airfield in the Moscow region on Tuesday morning, has delivered humanitarian aid to the city of Nis in Serbia.

"The cargo, which weighs a total of 25 tonnes, includes tents, blankets, water-filled inflatable dams, engine-driven pumps and portable power generators," the ministry said on its website.

The plane landed at the Nis airport at 12:15 p.m.

The humanitarian aid was delivered to Serbia on orders issued by the Russian government.
