Interdepartmental working group to monitor investigation of Volgograd terror attacks

MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - The Russian Public Chamber has set up an interdepartmental working group to monitor the investigation of the Volgograd terror attacks and the control the provision of rights of the victims and families of the deceased.

"An interdepartmental working group is being formed with support from the Russian Public Chamber, the Interior Ministry's Public Council, the Federal Security Service's Public Council and the Volgograd Public Chamber to monitor the developments and the investigation of the Volgograd terrorist acts," Russian Public Chamber Deputy Secretary Vladislav Grib said on Monday.

The Russian Public Chamber "will summarize analytical materials and organize hearings devoted to the security of citizens and ways to upgrade legislative and law enforcement methods of the deterrence of terrorism" in the middle of January, he said.
