Boeing en route to Thailand with flaps malfunction lands in Krasnoyarsk airport
KRASNOYARSK. Jan 6 (Interfax) - The Boeing 757 plane has landed in the Yemelyanovo airport in Krasnoyarsk, airport spokesperson Yulia Arzhanova told Interfax.
"The Boeing 757 jet landed successfully in the Yemelyanovo airport at 4.35 p.m. local time and no one was injured," Arzhanova said.
The passengers are currently being accommodated in hotels, the spokesperson said.
The alert on flaps malfunction of Boeing 757 aircraft en route from Blagoveshchensk to Phuket went off on Monday. The pilot has decided to land at the reserve aerodrome of the Krasnoyarsk airport.
The jet had 230 passengers and seven crew members on board.
