Issue to Iran's participation in Geneva II postponed until meeting of Lavrov, Kerry - Gatilov

MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - As of now, Russia and the United States have not agreed on the participation of Iran in the Geneva II international conference on Syria scheduled for January 22 in Switzerland.

"This issue has been postponed until the meeting of [Russian] Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Paris," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told Interfax on Friday following his meeting in Moscow with U.S. Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman.
