Uzbek slain in northern Moscow worked as cleaner
MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - An Uzbek citizen slain in Moscow was a taxi pool cleaner, a police representative told Interfax on Friday.
"The citizen of Uzbekistan who was found dead with multiple stab wounds on a railroad track near 16, Sodnensky Tupik, early on Friday morning was a cleaner of the taxi pool located at 4, Stratonavtov Proyezd," he said.
A criminal case was opened under Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code (murder).
A police source told Interfax earlier that the Uzbek citizen was slain in northern Moscow, near 1, Skhodnesky Tupik.
"The body of the 29-year-old migrant was found at around 11 p.m. on Thursday. Forensic specialists said he was stabbed with a knife over 20 times," he said.
The city police department confirmed the death to Interfax. "A police team is working on the incident scene. Details of the incident are being investigated," it said.
