U.S. not doing enough to get Syrian opposition engaged in Geneva II - Gatilov
GENEVA. Jan 20 (Interfax) - Moscow's impression is that the U.S. is not doing all it can to get the Syrian opposition to take part in the Geneva II international conference, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said.
"When we were discussing these issues with the Americans, they promised us and United Nations and Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi that they will try to make the opposition delegation most representative. But the impression so far is that they have not finished everything completely," he told Interfax.
