Khanty-Mansiisk to offer Khanty-Mansiisk Bank stake once more in H1
KHANTY-MANSIISK. Jan 21 (Interfax) - The city of Khanty-Mansiisk plans to try selling its 0.143% stake in Khanty-Mansiisk Bank in the first half of 2014, according to the privatization plan published on the municipal administration's website.
The city will put up 150,000 shares for sale. It has not specified a sale price for the shares, which each have par value of 100 rubles. Nor has the city set a date for the sale.
Khanty-Mansiisk tried to sell the stake last year, but it received no offers. The starting price was 37.522 million rubles.
According to the bank's website, a 48.08% stake is held by FerrosplavInvest, which is controlled by IST group co-owner Nikolai Dobrinov. Dobrinov is also a major shareholder in Nomos-Bank , which in turn owns 51.29% of Khanty-Mansiisk Bank, including 7.79% outright and 43.5% via three subsidiaries: Vostok-Capital, KN-Estate and Promgazkomplekt. Minority shareholders own a combined 0.63%.
Khanty-Mansiisk Bank was the 22nd biggest Russian bank by assets and the 34th biggest by retail deposits as of the end of the third quarter of 2013 according to the Interfax-100 ranking compiled by the Center for Economic Analysis.
