Tajik president to replace advisers with aides
DUSHANBE. Jan 21 (Interfax) - The Tajik presidential executive administration is abolishing the institution of state presidential advisers, replacing them with presidential aides.
The purpose of this decision is to improve coordination of national development policies, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said in a decree published on Tuesday.
In November 2013, soon after his re-election, Rahmon conducted a reform of the government structure, dividing some ministries into agencies and adding one deputy prime minister post.
Two months are allowed for the implementation of the decree.
