Gazprom could place euro-denominated notes in Feb, organizers mandated - sources
MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Gazprom could place euro-denominated Eurobonds in February, two banking sector sources told Interfax.
The sources said Credit Agricole and JP Morgan would be lead managers and Metropol - co-organizer for the offering.
The size of the offering has not yet been decided, but it will probably be a benchmark-sized offering, one of the sources said.
The last time the Russian gas monopoly placed Eurobonds was in October, when it offered the market 500 million Swiss francs worth of six-year securities. Yield was 2.85%. The organizers were BNP Paribas, UBS, and Gazprombank .
Gazprom entered the international debt market five times last year, placing Eurobonds in euros, dollars, pounds sterling, and francs.
Gazprom usually places Eurobonds right after it issues its latest report to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The company's website says that its Q3 2013 report will be coming out towards the end of this month.
