Hooligans fined, detained for throwing squibs outside Ukrainian Internal Troops base
LVIV. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Two men from the Ukrainian town of Uzhhorod have been fined and arrested for four days by the Frankivskiy District Court in Lviv for throwing squibs at the people who were blocking the exit from an Internal Troops base in Lviv.
The court has imposed a penalty in the form of a four-day arrest on one of the men, 20 years old, a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax on Tuesday. The other man, 34 years old, will pay for his actions a 510 hryvni fine.
Both hooligans were apprehended on January 20 after they started throwing squibs at the people blocking the exit from an Internal Troops base and towards the base's checkpoint. They were held by the picketers themselves and handed over to the police.
