Al-Mualem accuses several Geneva II participants of having "Syrians' blood on their hands"

MONTREUX. Jan 22 (Interfax) - Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Mualem has accused a number of the countries attending the Geneva II of abetting the killings of Syrian civilians.

"The Syrian people and I regret that representatives from a number of states are now here in this room despite having Syrians' blood on their hands," he said at the opening of the Geneva II international conference.

"These countries were exporting terrorism, as well as tools of murder, as if God delegated them the right to decide who to kill and who to help," he said.

"Today the moment of truth has come," al-Mualem said. "The truth is that some were systemically waging campaigns of misinformation and fabrication of information and lies," the Syrian foreign minister said.
