Gazprom Q3 IFRS earnings down 11% to 276.09 bln rubles, above forecast
MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Gazprom's net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) fell 11% year-on-year in Q3 2013 to 276.09 billion rubles, the Russian gas giant said on a statement.
This was still higher than the 259 billion rubles that analysts predicted in a consensus forecast for Interfax.
Sales revenue grew 7% to 1.205 trillion rubles, as forecast, and earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 28% to 429.995 billion rubles, above a forecast 414 billion rubles.
Free cash flow was positive for the fifth quarter in succession, at 21 billion rubles in a usually weak third quarter.
