Armenia approves plan of action for accession to Customs Union

YEREVAN. Jan 23 (Interfax) - The Armenian government on Thursday approved a schedule of tasks aimed at the country's accession to the Customs Union and the unified economic space.

"The government has approved a schedule of events, which comprises twenty sections containing 262 tasks. Of these tasks, 150 are to be completed before Armenia's accession to the Customs Union," Armenian Economics Minister Agram Avanesyan said.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, for his part, called on agencies to give special attention to the translation of documents.

"It is important that all translations of texts should be as correct as possible. We will use the terms stated in these documents as a foundation for further work," Sargsyan said.
