Russia to allocate Ukraine $5 bln via SDR, $10 bln from National Wealth Fund - Siluanov

MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Russia will allocate $5 billion via its special drawing rights (SDR) and $10 billion from the National Wealth Fund out of $15 billion planned to be loaned to Ukraine, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said.

"We can use SDR to provide as borrowed, credit funds paying the percentage to our neighbor so that they can pay to the International Monetary Fund - this is approximately $5 billion. So out of the $15 billion, $5 billion will be given as SDR and $10 billion will be contributed from the funds of the National Wealth Fund," Siluanov said on Ekho Moskvy (Echo of Moscow) radio station.
