Super-heavy rocket to send over 160 tonnes of payload into space may appear in Russia - Roscosmos head

MOSCOW. Jan 28 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) is formulating suggestions concerning plans to develop a super-heavy space rocket that will be used to put over 160 tonnes of payload into orbit, the agency's director Oleg Ostapenko said.

"Very soon, in February, we will submit the appropriate proposal to the military-industrial commission," he said at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University on Tuesday.
