Verkhovna Rada passes four bills replacing those repealed
KYIV. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has passed four bills in a package without a discussion to replace the repealed ones of January 16.
This decision has been supported by 257 out of 412 deputies.
The deputies voted for the bills on amending the Ukrainian Tax Code Article 197 on no VAT taxation for operations of gas imports to Ukraine; on amending the law on free legal assistance to delay coming into effect of provisions of section 6 part 6 'Final and Transition Provisions'; on amending the Ukrainian Criminal Code concerning the liability for denying or justifying fascist crimes and on amending the Ukrainian Criminal Code Article 297 on the liability for desecrating or destroying monuments in the memory of Soviet soldiers, participants of the partisan movement, underground activists, victims of the Nazis, international soldiers and peacemakers.
