Svoboda party offices attacked in Dnipropetrovsk region
DNIPROPETROVSK. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Unidentified assailants attacked the Svoboda opposition party's office in Dnipropetrovsk early on Tuesday.
Nine athletic-looking men broke into the office last night and knocked down the security guard. As two of the attackers were holding the security guard, the others were breaking the doors, and smashing the windows, computers and furniture, the party's regional organization said on its website .
In a separate incident, two 19 year-old local residents torched the party's office in the town of Zholtiye Vody in Dnipropetrovsk region on Monday evening.
"They lit a fuse at the entrance to the public reception office and threw it into the office. The doors were damaged in the fire. The flames were localized and the assailants were detained," the posting says.
