Russia invites EU to consider setting up free trade area with Eurasian Union - Putin
BRUSSELS. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested that an expert dialogue should be started on the possibility of setting up a free trade area between the European Union and the nascent Eurasian Economic Union.
"We have invited the European Union leadership to analyze the possibility of forming a free trade area between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union being set up by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan," Putin said following an EU-Russia summit on Tuesday.
