Kyrgyz president, CSTO sec gen confer on trans-boundary cooperation
BISHKEK. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev and Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha have discussed regional security issues, the presidential press service told Interfax on Wednesday.
"President A. Atambayev met with [CSTO] Secretary General N. Bordyuzha on January 29," the press service reported.
"The meeting was dedicated to cooperation between the organization member states in the bolstering of regional security and stability in the CSTO space in the light of the developments in Afghanistan," it said.
"The meeting also touched upon trans-boundary cooperation between CSTO member states," the press service added.
