Situation with ruble will normalize soon - Prokhorov

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Businessman Mikhail Prokhorov has called on people not to be nervous and not to panic about the situation with the floating ruble rate.

"The Central Bank has now adopted a different system: to stop supporting the ruble and switch to a free, floating rate. Any country that develops a market economy switches to such a system sooner or later," Prokhorov told reporters on Thursday.

Prokhorov said he is convinced that "the situation will soon normalize."
