Syrians hold pro-Assad protest in Geneva
DUBAI. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Several hundred Syrians gathered in Geneva to hold a rally in support of the Assad administration in Syria, the Syrian news agency SANA reported.
The protesters have gathered near the headquarters of the UN office in Geneva "to support their land, army, and the Syrian government delegation in the Geneva II talks."
The rally participants are also protesting against terrorism.
The first round of the negotiations between representatives of the Syrian government and the opposition are expected to end in Geneva on Friday.
