Russia to supply five S-300 divisions to Kazakhstan free of charge
ASTANA (Kazakhstan). Jan 31 (Interfax-AVN) - All political decisions have been made to supply S-300PS surface-to-air missile systems to Kazakhstan free of charge, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov told reporters on Friday, commenting on the results of the negotiations between the defense ministers Sergei Shoigu of Russia and Adilbek Dzhaksybekov of Kazakhstan.
"Five divisions of S-300PS surface-to-air missile systems will be supplied from the Russia Defense Ministry's resources," Antonov said.
Antonov said the missiles were earlier on combat duty in Russia and "experts of the two countries will now see how to put them into combat readiness."
