School conflict likely cause of incident at Moscow school 263 - source

MOSCOW. Feb 3 (Interfax) - The incident at Moscow School N263 may have been caused by a conflict at the educational institution, a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

"The high-school student who broke into the school with a weapon did so presumably because of a conflict at his school," the source said.

An armed man entered the school and started shooting, the Interior Ministry said earlier. He is a high-school student from the same school, a ministry spokesperson said later. All students from the school have been released, the ministry said. A police man and a teacher have been killed, and yet another police injured, it said.

The high-school student has been apprehended and handed over to investigators.
