Deputy investor rights watchdog chief again nominated to Acron board

MOSCOW. Feb 4 (Interfax) - The board of directors at fertilizer-maker Acron has approved a list of candidates for the next board to be elected by shareholders, and the deputy acting director at the Association for the Protection of Investor Rights, Igor Repin, is on it again.

A company statement said the list contains nine candidates. Aside from current board members, and Repin, it features the head of the Acron department for development and introducing agro-chemical technology, Arkady Sverdlov. Repin had been nominated to the board a year ago, but was not elected.

On the current board are Acron Vice President Alexander Popov; the company's executive director, Vladimir Gavrikov; its deputy executive director for development, Viktor Kochubei; the head of its department for economics and finances, Valery Shvalyuk; the advisor to the company's general director, Alexander Dynkin; the deputy chief of Acron's division for corporate and legal work, Yegor Gissin; and independent director Igor Belikov.
