OSCE Minsk Group working to arrange meeting between Armenian, Azeri presidents
YEREVAN. Feb 5 (Interfax) - The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for Nagorno-Karabakh are working on the organization of a meeting between the Armenian and Azeri presidents.
"The negotiating process should be continued at the top level. To make the two presidents meet, they should be offered a substantive agenda. This is what we are working on now," OSCE Co-Chair for Russia Igor Popov told journalists in Yerevan.
Popov said his meetings with the Armenian leaders would focus on issues related to the fundamental principles of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"A number of issues were discussed in Paris [at a meeting between the Armenian and Azeri foreign ministers]. Not all issues have been settled. We'll work on the rest," Popov said.
