Russian, N.Korean diplomats discuss nuclear problem
MOSCOW. Feb 6 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and his North Korean counterpart Kung Sok-ung have discussed trade and economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as the situation surrounding the Korean peninsula's nuclear problem.
"On February 6 Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Morgulov received DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) Kung Sok-ung, who is in Moscow as part of the DPRK delegation attending the events of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games in Sochi," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"The meeting involved a deepened exchange of opinions on pressing bilateral issues, including trade and economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as international ones, including the situation surrounding the Korean peninsula's nuclear problem," the ministry said.
