Protesters in Kyiv demand that Ukraine's Security Service probe "separatist statements" by Crimean parliament
KYIV. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Several hundred protesters are rallying in front of the building of the Ukrainian Security Service in Kyiv's Vladimirskaya Street today.
The protesters are demanding that the Ukrainian Security Service probe the "separatist statements made by the Supreme Council of Crimea," abductions of people, and politically motivated persecution of opposition activists, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
The activists are holding state flags of Ukraine and flags of the parties Batkivshchina, UDAR, and Svoboda. They also have a vehicle with sound-enhancing equipment.
The Vladimirskaya Street is not closed to traffic. The people are protesting on the pedestrian part of the street.
