In 2013 Russian courts uphold almost 100% lawsuits on collecting salary - Supreme Court Chairman Lebedev
MOSCOW. Feb 11 (Interfax) - In 2013 Russian courts upheld lawsuits on collecting salaries for over 12 billion rubles, Russian Supreme Court Chairman Vyacheslav Lebedev said.
In the past five years the number of work-related disputes considered by courts decreased from 910,000 to 610,000, and in 2013, 80% of them, or 510,000, were salary-related disputes, Lebedev said on Tuesday when speaking at a meeting with chairpersons of the Russian regional supreme courts.
In 2013 courts upheld 97% of such lawsuits, Lebedev said. "The rulings returned to collect unpaid salaries were worth over 12 billion rubles," he said.
