High-ranking Batkivshchyna party members visit Tymoshenko in hospital

KHARKIV. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Arseny Yatsenyuk, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party parliamentary faction, and Oleksandr Turchynov, a first deputy chairman of the Batkivshchyna party itself, have arrived at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv, where ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is undergoing medical treatment while at the same time continuing to serve her 7-year prison term.

Yatsenyuk and Turchynov entered the hospital territory in the afternoon without saying anything to members of the press, an Interfax correspondent reported from the scene.

Tymoshenko's supporters, who had gathered near the hospital, chanted 'Freedom to Yulia' when Yatsenyuk and Turchynov were passing by,

Iryna Yefremova, a member of the Kharkiv regional legislature from Batkivshchyna, confirmed that the two had been admitted to Tymoshenko, and the meeting began.
