Yatsenyuk confirms rejection of president's offer of PM office

KYIV. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Arseny Yatsenyuk, one of Ukraine's key opposition leaders, on Sunday confirmed his rejection of the offer of the office of prime minister from President Viktor Yanukovych.

"You will have heard that Viktor Yanukovych has offered me the office of prime minister. This is my answer to Yanukovych: I cannot be bought with offers of high positions, Mr. President. Go and buy your hangers-on," Yatsenyuk told a pro-European Union opposition rally on Kyiv's Independence Square.

Yatsenyuk said the opposition was putting together its own government by decision of all its leaders, including jailed ex-prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
