Aeroflot boosts RAS earnings 3.6-fold to 11.097 bln rubles in 2013

MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Aeroflot - Russian Airlines boosted net profit to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) 3.6-fold in 2013 to 11.097 billion rubles, the company said in a report.

The company's sales revenues amounted to 206.277 billion rubles, which was 16.8% more than it took in the year before.

Pretax profits were up 2.5-fold at 16.298 billion rubles and gross profits 1.2-fold at 40.671 billion rubles.

Aeroflot is Russia's biggest airline. Its main stockholder is federal state property fund Rosimuschestvo with 51.17% of its shares. Aeroflot - Russian Airlines flew more than 20 million passengers last year and the Aeroflot group as a whole more than 31 million people.
