Gazprom places EUR750 mln in 7-yr notes at 3.6% -
MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Gazprom has placed 750 million euro in seven-year Eurobonds at 3.6% pa the Russian gas giant said in a press release.
The series 35 notes were issued by Gaz Capital S.A., a Luxembourg special purpose vehicle, under Gazprom's EMTN Programme.
Credit Agricole CIB, Gazprombank and J.P. Morgan acted as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers with respect to the notes.
The proceeds of the offering will be used to finance a loan to Gazprom. The proceeds of the loan to Gazprom will be used for general corporate purposes, the company said.
Gazprom held a road show for the notes in London and continental Europe on February 17-18.
Gazprom placed two euro-denominated bond issues last year: the first, in March, consisted of a seven-year tranche of 1 billion euro in seven-year notes at 3.389% and 12-yrear tranche of 500 million euro at 4.364% in March; and the second, in July, was a single tranche of 900 million euro in five-year bonds at 3.7%.
