Turchynov promises neighborly relations with Russia

KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Ukraine will build neighborly relations with Russia, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov said.

"We are aware of the importance of relations with Russia and are prepared for a dialogue with the Russian administration in order to build relations with this country on a new fair, equal and neighborly basis [as with a state] which recognizes and takes into account the European choice of Ukraine," he said in a televised address aired by the Rada television channel on Sunday evening.
