Putin and Russian Security Council permanent members discuss Ukraine
MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the permanent members of the country's Security Council on Tuesday morning, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"The session was mainly dedicated to the current situation in Ukraine," Peskov said.
Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Federation Council Chair Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin, presidential chief of staff Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, his deputy Rashid Nurgaliyev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov, and Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) chief Mikhail Fradkov.
