713 injured in Kyiv confrontations since Feb 18 - ministry

KYIV. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Some 713 people hurt in last week's clashes in Kyiv had asked for medical assistance as of last night at midnight and 479 of them were hospitalized.

Assistance was sought by 38 people in the period from 6 a.m. until midnight on February 24. Thirty-two people were taken to a hospital.

"Eighty-two people died (were killed) in confrontations," the ministry said in a report posted on its website on Tuesday.
