Rosgosstrakh Bank ups loan portfolio 9% in 2013 to 64.6 bln rubles

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russia's Rosgosstrakh Bank increased its loan portfolio 9% in 2013 to 64.6 billion rubles, the company said in a statement.

The bank's corporate loan portfolio grew 7% to 25.31 billion rubles. The bank's portfolio for large businesses was up 7% at 22.69 billion rubles, while that for small and medium businesses grew 8% to 2.62 billion rubles.

Rosgosstrakh Bank said the production sector accounted for the largest part of corporate loans, 40%, while commercial loans accounted for 30% of the total. The services and construction sectors accounted for the remaining portion of loans, though the bank did not name specific figures.

The bank's retail loan portfolio grew 42% to 26.62 billion rubles. Credit card debt accounted for 5.07 billion rubles of the overall portfolio, up 180% for the year.

Rosgosstrakh Bank was Russia's 52nd largest bank by assets at the end of 2013, according to the Interfax-100 ranking.
