Preventing bloodshed in Crimea our first priority - Ukraine's new deputy PM

KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister Vitaliy Yarema has warned against provoking bloodshed in Crimea.

"The main thing today is to prevent bloodshed and by no means to react to provocations by those persons who have occupied the parliament building. It matters because it seems to me that this is precisely what they are waiting for so as to organize mass riots there," Yarema told reporters in Kyiv on Thursday.

I am heading to my office to do whatever is necessary to stabilize the situation in the Crimea, he said.
