Investigators will seek arrest warrant for My Bank ex-owner

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin has announced plans to ask the country's court to issue an arrest warrant for former owner of My Bank and ex-senator Gleb Fetisov.

"The investigation will seek an arrest warrant for Fetisov," Markin told Interfax after being asked to comment on earlier reports concerning this matter.

The Izvestia newspaper reported earlier that the Investigative Committee had launched an inquiry into the activities of Fetisov, former owner of My Bank, which went bankrupt, and chairman of the Green Alliance-People's Party.

"The inquiry was opened in response to a letter received from the Russian Central Bank, which suggested that suspicious operations by the former management of My Bank could have led to its bankruptcy," the newspaper said.
