Party of Regions congress should take place as soon as possible - Tihipko

KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax) - A congress of the Party of Regions will likely be held on March 6 and it will not happen in Kyiv, Serhiy Tihipko, a member of the Party of Regions faction, said.

"The congress should be held as soon as possible. We will most likely hold a congress on March 6," he told Interfax.

At the same time, Tihipko said the Party of Regions congress will not be held in Kyiv.

"It will most likely not happen in Kyiv because no one will let us hold a congress of the Party of Regions here," the politician said.
