Kazakhstan had 1.7% inflation in Feb, 2.3% YTD

ALMATY. March 3 (Interfax) - Inflation in Kazakhstan was 1.7% in February 2014, the State Statistics Agency said.

Food prices last month rose by 1.5%, non-food prices 1.9% and paid services rose 1.7%.

The annual inflation rate (February 2014 to December 2013) was 4.1%, while food prices grew by 2%, non-food products increased 2.2% and paid services by 2.8%.

December-to-December inflation in 2013 was 4.8%.
