Wikimart plans to up revenue to $250 mln in 2014

MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Online retailer Wikimart increased revenue to $150 million in 2013, Maksim Faldin, one of the co-owners and founders of the company, told Interfax on the sidelines of the Digital Goods conference.

Wikimart revenue was $110 million in 2012. Sales grew 36% in 2013.

The company hopes to boost revenue to $250 million - $260 million in 2014, Faldin said. Children's goods and sport goods are among the fastest growing categories, he said.

The retailer does not yet sell digital goods. "The market of physical goods is growing so quickly that all are thoughts are there (
