Moscow City Court commutes sentences to men found guilty of acid attack on Bolshoi ballet director

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - The Moscow City Court has commuted the punishments a lower court handed down earlier on people found guilty of an acid attack on Bolshoi Theater Ballet Director Sergei Filin.

In particular, Bolshoi ballet soloist Pavel Dmitrichenko's imprisonment term has been reduced to 5 years and 6 months from 6 years, Yury Zarutsky's to 9 years from 10 years, and Andrei Lipatov's to 2 years from 4 years, an Interfax correspondent reported from the courthouse.
