Some 3,500 people rally in support of people of Ukraine in Pyatigorsk

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Several thousand people took part in a rally in support of the people of Ukraine held in Pyatigorsk, the Russian Interior Ministry's Main Department for the Stavropol territory told Interfax on Thursday.

"Some 3,500 people took part in a rally in support of the people of Ukraine today. The rally participants spoke about the unity of the people of Russia and Ukraine. No violations of public order took place during the rally," the police said.

Rallies in support of the people of Ukraine were held in many cities of Russia in the past few days.
