List of German suppliers of livestock products falls by 19 enterprises

MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - The list of German enterprises that supply Russia with livestock products has decreased by 19 suppliers, Russian agricultural watchdog (Rosselkhoznadzor) said.

This occurred by the request of Germany's Office of Nutrition, Food Safety and Animal Health of the Federal Ministry for Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture. The office requested that 19 enterprises be removed from the list due to their noncompliance with the veterinary and sanitation standards and norms of the Customs Union and Russia.

"The process of updating the list of suppliers is taking place in accordance with agreements previously reached between the veterinary services of the two countries," Rosselkhoznadzor said.
